This one-of-a-kind instrument is about 80% the size of an Orchestra Model (OM), made for a young player who loves music, and who happens to be left-handed. The rosewood bridge is a little farther toward the rear because the scale length is 26 ¾ ", so the young musician will not have to learn new finger placement for chords or notes when he gets older and moves to a full size.
The Big Z has a candy apple red top, with gloss burgundy sizes and a burgundy/red burst on the back. Besides being fun, it's also made to last: the nut and saddle are made of bone, the top and the neck are maple, and the marker dots are mother-of-pearl. Besides being a set neck, fasteners are added (similar to bolt-on necks) to help withstand the enthusiasm of youth.
Nylon acoustic strings and a 14" fingerboard radius are easy on young fingers and hands. Ebony headstock veneer with a pearl "Z" inlay and a carved top add a little class.
After becoming the next Jimi, Eric, or Muddy, the musician will be able to pass this quality guitar on to the next young musician. Unless he keeps it as his travel guitar.
